From a very young age, God graced me with a special compassion for the poor, especially children. In December 2002, with the help of friends and family, I gave bags of food to over 150 hungry families in Colon, Panama. I did this in gratitude for all of the blessings God
has given me throughout my life.
In 2004, God graced my heart with the desire to feed the needy children in Colon. God enabled me to work
several months of the year in Panama allowing me to witness for myself the poverty there. My burden to feed the
children grew heavy and with the encouragement of my pastor, friends, and family, the doors of Christ Fellowship Panama Feeding & Learning Center opened in June 2005.
My mission has continued and grown. Through two churches in Colon, the Christ Fellowship Panama Feeding & Learning Center blesses many people, an orphanage, two shelters, and a prison with food for the body and nourishment for the mind and soul.
Today, the Christ Fellowship Panama Feeding & Learning Center not only distributes bags of food to families in
the community, but also provides school uniforms to the children attending the Feeding Center, toiletries to those in prison, and food and uniforms to the children in the
shelters at Coco Solo and Arco Iris. And, we assist other
communities as we see the need and are able.
Our primary mission is to help the children, but we also feed the elderly, homeless, drug addicted, and anyone |
else who stops by with their “plastic bowl” asking for food.
The Word tells us that blessed (happy) is he who is kind to
the needy. It also tells us that when Jesus walked on this
earth, “He went about doing good.” Even though He was
Lord of lords, He became a servant to all. We are told to
take on Christ and to have the same mind of Christ. Our
hands are to be an extension of God’s hands on the earth
and our heart should be an expression of His love.
Be blessed by being a blessing to someone else (Matthew
5:7) and remember that God has called us to feed the
hungry, give them to drink, cloth the naked, and visit the
sick and those in prison (Matthew 25:31-46).
God has promised us that what we sow, we will reap
(Galatians 6:7). He also tells us that when we give or have
pity on the poor, we lend to God Himself; and that which
we have given, God will pay us back (Proverbs 19:17).
I invite you to join us in feeding the children and others
in need. Please give generously to the Christ Fellowship
Panama Feeding & Learning Center. Your one-time or
monthly contributions will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your help,
